Death Certificate of May Drummond shows her as the widow of Alexander Pitceathly, retired farmer. She died in Auchterarder in April 1881. The informant was her son, James Pitceathly. Her parents were John Drummond, farmer, and Cathrine Drummond, M.S. Robertson, both deceased. Cause of death, senile decay.

Pitkeathly May 13/5/1881 or Drummond, formerly residing at Woodend, Auchterarder, latterly at Ruthvenbank there, widow, d. 03/04/1881 at Ruthvenbank aforesaid, intestate Perth Sheriff Court. The record shows that she left an estate worth £89 – 1s – 9d mainly made up of various investments such as loans to the Road Trustees of the counties of Perth, Fife and Kinross and various local authorities.
