Narrative
DoB from Pop's diary of 1911.
Came top of his year in 1913 at Edinburgh University - received book prize (History of Mathematics by Rouse Ball). His Prof. still had his photograph many years later.
Would have married Margaret Ross - who later became Headmistress at School of Scone Palace. She was killed in a car accident.
Killed in action in 1917. Was in the Royal Engineers experimenting with Gas.
