Wrote a diary during 1907 including references to Mavisbank, Andersons, Smeatons.
Had a photo of his Grandma in his wallet with 'Grandma E.D.' on the back, with a slip of paper giving her parents names (Andrew Duncan & Christina Anderson). Also in this wallet were cutouts of the death notices of Janet Isabella Low JP OBE MA, eldest daughter of the late Dr & Mrs William Low of Blebo on 20th December 1962 at 46 South Street, St Andrews and of Katherine Mary Low, elder daughter of the late Sir James and Lady Low, Kilmaron Castle, Cupar on 9th November 1969. He clearly believed that there is a link with this family!
