| Narrative |
Frances says his marriage certificate gives Margaret Jackson's address as Hamlet Annetland (where John Jackson is the landlord). In Pop's diary (my Grandfather - James Brown Low) for 9th Nov 1911 it says, "Silver wedding day. Such a lovely silver tea service from the Browns. Mr & Mrs Brown over in evening we all had a jolly time. 25 years seems quite an age when I hear them speak of all that has happened in that time. After supper speeches. Madge and I gave a silver rose-bowl. Very pretty one. Aunt M did not manage down." |
